Mail belongs to your workspace. Connections, domains, keys and message history are checked against its permissions. Sending-only does not require a mailbox server. Incoming Mail is a separate activation. Connecting a sender domain does not automatically create mailboxes.

Prepare a sender domain

1

Choose the connection

Open Mail in the correct workspace and select the intended connection.
2

Add a domain

Use a domain you control. Copy the exact DNS records shown for it.
3

Publish and verify DNS

Add the supplied records with your DNS provider, then request verification. Resolve existing-record conflicts before replacing an SPF or other mail record.
4

Create an application key

Create a sending key, restricted to its sender domain where appropriate. Store it in the application’s private environment.
The expanded Mail API has a verified implementation contract, but production workers and the provider event chain have separate rollout gates. Availability depends on the enabled connection. Incoming-mail integration and advanced sending features must be confirmed for your workspace.

Bring your own sending account

Use the turboSMTP BYOK guide for account credentials, domain verification, application keys and disconnect behavior.
